Note on 2020-11-18 GO term annotations - GeneMerge

The November 2020 GO release contains several errors: 'alternative id'
(alt_id) GO terms appear in species' gene association (gaf) files:

alt_id: GO:0000799
alt_id: GO:0036326
alt_id: GO:0036327
alt_id: GO:0036328
alt_id: GO:0060733
alt_id: GO:0071148
alt_id: GO:0071149

These terms have been corrected to reflect the official GO Term id
for each function as given in the 2020-11-18 GO obo file
in GeneMerge gene-association files.

This change will not affect GO term analysis. However,
users should be aware of this potential difference in some
GO gaf files vs. the corresponding GM gene association files.

This fix was necessary because duplicate GO terms for the same
function will result in a loss of statistical power in tests for
over-representation of such terms through an artificial dilution
of enrichment fraction and for all analyzed terms through
unnecessary correction for multiple hypothesis tests.
